Job title: Supply Chain Coordinator (12 month Fixed Term Contract)
Reporting to: European Procurement Manager
Location: Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk (Hybrid working opportunities available)
Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time (37.5 hours)
The Opportunity
The Supply Chain Coordinator will provide the European supply chain function with general administrative support, working cross functionally to maximise internal efficiencies within supply chain. This role will ensure the successful transfer of products between the UK to the US, supporting with inbound and outbound shipments, updating reports, and ensuring smooth flow of inventory. Including the timely transfer and coordination of high impact chemicals (HIC) orders and stock.

What you’ll be doing
The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Manage intercompany stock transfers to maintain optimum inventory levels and maximise OTIF
Maintain and update key procurement and logistic parameters within ERP System
Coordinate and manage all aspects of import and export documentation, providing critical assistance to the imports & exports team as required
Maintain accurate records of shipments, including data entry into transportation management systems Import arrivals, export and customer collections.
Monitor delays, communicating date changes promptly to all stakeholders, notifying the Supply Chain team of any recurring delays requiring investigation
Track and expedite orders, communicate ETAs, and handle invoice queries. Maintaining and update spreadsheets as required
Build and maintain constructive relationships with suppliers, service providers, and stakeholders
Run MRP and contract reports for Procurement, supporting with supplemental data entry
Raising transactional purchase orders and providing general support to the buyers
Manage portal orders for high impact chemicals, ensuring smooth and timely placement of orders and stock replenishment.
Perform such other tasks as are consistent with the general role description and job title
Behave in all ways congruent with Treatt values, also keeping health and safety at the forefront of everything
What we’re looking for
Essential criteria:
GCSE grades A-C, a vocational qualification, or Diploma in Supply Chain
Data extraction, analysis, and administration
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Collaborative, team-player, able to interact effectively regionally and globally
Motivated self-starter. A can-do attitude with a pro-active hands-on approach to all tasks
Knowledge and experience of MRP. Strong ERP systems knowledge
The ability to communicate complex issues effectively and efficiently both verbally and in writing across all levels within the business
Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse a high volume of data and produce recommendations
Excellent attention to detail, confident, and highly organised
Desirable criteria:
Experience of working within the Flavour & Fragrance industry, FMCG, or complex supply chains
Experience dealing with large volumes of data
Experience using JD Edwards (JDE
